NEWS: We Are Now Offering Fully-Guided Ice Fishing Trips for the 2026 Season!

Maine Wilderness Fishing is excited to announce that we are now offering fully guided ice fishing trips for the 2026 winter season. Trips run January through March, depending on safe ice conditions.

These are 6-hour trips and include all gear, live bait, artificial lures, tip-ups, jigging rods, electronics, hole drilling, and hot beverages to help keep everyone comfortable on the ice.

Our trips are family friendly, and kids under 16 fish for free with paying adults—making this a great way to introduce young anglers to winter fishing in Maine.

We guide on a variety of waters across the region, including the Ellsworth-area lakes near Acadia and Bar Harbor and several Greater Bangor lakes and ponds, with locations chosen based on conditions and the species you want to target.

Whether you’re new to ice fishing or looking to try something different this winter, our guided trips offer a safe, relaxed way to enjoy Maine’s frozen lakes.
